AHSDF 2020
The second annual Arkansas High School Dance Festival was held at University of Arkansas -Little Rock on January 17, 2020. This festival featured special guest teachers included educators from UnTapped, Ballet Arkansas, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Henderson State University, Murry's Dinner Playhouse, The Rep, and high school dance educators from attending high schools. Over one hundred dance students from Arkansas Arts Academy, Hot Springs World Class High School, North Little Rock High School, Maumelle High School, and Rogers High School enjoyed a full dance of classes, shared choreography, and connecting to the Arkansas dance community! Directors were able to meet and share ideas, inspirations, and pedagogical practices while students of National Honor Society for Dance Arts were able to share ideas for fundraising, community service, and expansion of their programs.
